Synopsis

Famous lawyer Luc Germon believes he has reached the pinnacle of his career when Gilles Fontaine, one of the most powerful businessmen in France, asks him to defend him in a corruption case. But a strange relationship strikes up between the two men. Games of seduction and domination in a legal thriller offering a caustic portrait of the circles of power.

Biographie

Bernard Stora

Graduating from the French Institute of Cinema, IDHEC, in 1964, Bernard Stora started out as an assistant to numerous directors, including Clouzot, Verneuil, Melville and Rappeneau. He directed his first film, Le Jeune marié, in 1983. This was followed by Vent de panique (1987), Mutual Consent (1994) and A Considerable Disturbance (2000). He also writes screenplays.
