Synopsis
In the Polish forest during the Second World War, a couple of poor, elderly, childless woodcutters take in a baby thrown off a death train and decide to protect it against all odds, including their own anti-Semitic prejudices. A great animated film, magnificent and poetic, in which the light of the Righteous rises from the darkness.
