Synopsis

London, 1884. A man with severe deformities is exhibited as a fairground freak. A doctor determines to save him from this terrible existence in order to study him, but soon discovers that John Merrick, to give him his real name, is an intelligent and sensitive person. David Lynch (1946-)

This master of the strange has developed an unusual body of work that draws us into the interior madness of human beings and describes a world grappling with evil.
