Belgian actress Cécile de France is guest of honor at the 25th edition !
With her head in the stars and her feet firmly on the ground, Cécile de France doesn't play the actress. Without fuss or star whims, she is at ease everywhere with her disarming charm and welcoming smile. This daughter of the north, born in Namur, carries with her the simplicity and authenticity of her origins. She takes each role as a gift that she then wants to pass on to the audience, because she has always played not for herself, but for others. Her vocation for acting came to her very early, at the age of six, when she recited a poem in front of her class and discovered the marvellous pleasure of captivating her audience and bringing out the emotions in them.
We're delighted to welcome her to Arras on Saturday November 9 for a public discussion in which she will talk about her films and her career.
