Belgrade, May 1998. Michael returns to his country after five years in exile. While he is in conversation with the taxi driver, a young tearaway, Alex, overtakes them and crashes into another car. The owner gets out and proceeds to kick in the offending car... This marks the start of a terrible, hellish spiral in the heart of the Balkan night.
