THE MAJOR

On a cold winter's morning, Police Major Sergei Sobolev is speeding along an icy road towards the hospital where his wife is about to give birth. Careering out of control due to his speed, he accidentally knocks over a child. There are no witnesses other than the victim's mother. So he calls a colleague to get him out of this mess.
