LETTERS FROM WAR

1971. A young Portuguese doctor is drafted into the army and sent to serve in Angola where an absurd and pointless colonial war is raging. Every day, he sends passionate love letters to his pregnant wife. In them, this young would-be writer also recounts his everyday existence, sharing his doubts and fears as the conflict intensifies, while at the same time evoking his fascination with Africa.
