BLACKOUT IN ROME

In Italy at the end of 1943, three Allied officers - an American, an Englishman and a Russian - escape from a prison camp. They are taken in by black marketer Esperia. She hides them in her attic in Rome, a city occupied at that time by the Germans. The days pass by, the wait becomes unbearable and the noose tightens around the three men, who are divided as to the attitude to adopt.
