Synopsis
What does it mean, to go to the movies? Why have people been going? Arnaud Desplechin revisits his youth, with his alter-ego Paul Dédalus, to tell the story of his initiation into the cinema: first as a spectator, then as a cinephile, and finally as a filmmaker. It's an homage to all those who love the cinema, and an illustration of a certain idea of cinema.
