Synopsis
1986. Maria, a Guatemalan revolutionary activist, has been in exile in Mexico City for years, where she continues her struggle. When her 10-year-old son comes to live with her, she has to choose between her role as a mother and her role as an activist. A breathless political thriller in which the filmmaker combines his personal story with the story of his country.
