Synopsis
1900. Parisian courtesan, Lili d’Alengy flees to Rome to hide her daughter, born with a learning disability. There, her life changes when she meets a doctor who has developed a revolutionary method for mentally-challenged children: Maria Montessori. The intertwined lives of two women who were never destined to meet.
